Compete to win 1k!
Alright, well I'm thinking of making my warrior use axes as swords are getting boring. The person who gives me the best axe build will be awarded 1k (not much, but worth your 3 seconds to post) This will end in 3 days, where I will announce the winner. Good luck!

My Koss runs this.
[skill]triple chop[/skill][skill]cyclone axe[/skill][skill]dismember[/skill][skill]agonizing chop[/skill][skill]"watch yourself!"[/skill][skill]flail[/skill][skill]remedy signet[/skill][skill]signet of return[/skill]
Axe mastery 12+1+rune
Strength 8+1
Tactics 10+1
I see no reason why this wouldn't work well on a human too, although I might consider swapping enraging charge for remedy sig on a real player. I've also been known to run hex eater signet in that slot, or a PvE skill would fit nicely. I usually dump some buffs on him, but it's still pretty awesome as is.

I actually don't know which build to give you. Actually, I have not even got a "good" build myself. Actually, I am only level 7 on my warrior and I have been playing Guild Wars for just a week.
But my suggestion is to get a build which is FUN to play. To hell with using other peoples ideas of what is good! I used to play that way in WoW and the game got so very boring for me, so very fast. Now I am playing GW, I am playing a Warrior/Necromancer despite people telling me all the time to pick a Warrior/Monk, and I pick out the skills which I find FUN to use! I noticed that I find great fun in playing a crazy butcher weiling an axe and spinning around doing damage to multiple targets with this "spin around and hit all nearby enemies" attack. And at the same time I can't get enough of this spell which raises a little undead minion to help me fight. The coolest part IMO is that it actually crawls out of a slain enemy's body!
Sure I could buy that hammer which does way more damage than my current axe, and fight with that, but man that's just not as much fun... I guess I could get way more efficient spells as well, but for now I like playing with my undead-raising crazy axe-weiling-warrior of SPINNING DEATH, and I'm having a blast doing it!!!

Fun as it may be, in easy earlier missions it works, but later on you'll need a good build
But warrior monks suck. Don't listen to those who tell you to do that.

im assuming PvE. this build has greater DPS while maintaining survivability than any warrior build anyone has though of, without competition. now before you judge, remember that in PvE foes are ALWAYS bunched up. I know that a D-slasher can out-DPs this on a single target, but multiple this thing's single target dps by 5 or 6 and you a pretty crazy AoE warrior

This is a trick question. As there really can't be a "best" build. There are many practical builds, but each has its own use for varying situations.
While i may not have any builds that are ideal, because i only have prophecies, I still have fun without using a "common" build.

no, your wrong. there shouldnt be a best build. sadly asfar as PvE goes triple chop/cyclone/whirlwind axe is much more powerful than any other warrior build.

Add splinter weapon and death pact signet.. then I agree.
Other builds have their strengths, like spamming Save Yourselves! under FGJ and DS, or even permanent lockdown with Backbreaker, but Triple Chop and Splinter Weapon takes the damage cake. It doesn't even utilize FGJ..
